Sand Soldiers of America is a non-profit organization serving veterans, active troops and military families. We offer help — when help is needed most — to those who have given so much to our country.

Memorial Day Sunset Parade & Ceremony: 5/27/12

Join us in celebrating Memorial Day in Clearwater on May 27th at 7:30 pm at the Sunset Parade & Ceremony. Sand Soldiers of America is proud to announce this great event to be held in Clearwaters' Crest Lake Park at Gulf to Bay Blvd at Glenwood Avenue. The Parade & Ceremony will be followed by and outdoor movie: "Taking Chance" starring Kevin Bacon. Join the celebration on May 27th, 2012 sponsored by the Coast Guard Auxilary.

"Giving Veterans the Respect They Deserve"

We believe that all those who serve their country deserve respect when they return home. SSOA serves veterans of the Central Asian conflicts by providing social services, encouraging fellowship and honoring their service and sacrifice through community events and memorials. We offer a variety of veteran resources including employment information, housing availability & information and medical resources.

"2012 Tampa Bay Strongman Classic and Bike Show": July 7, 2012

Get ready Tampa Bay! You're about to experience entertainment like you've never seen before! Roman & Roman, P.A. Proudly presents the 2012 Tampa Bay Strongman Classic and Bike Show. This 3 day event will include a motorcycle show (sponsored by Full Throttle Magazine- Florida) Southern Rock band "The Cowboy Mafia" live on stage (sponsored by Quaker Steak and Lube), and finally a Strongman Show, similar to the "Worlds Strongest Man" seen on ESPN (Sponsored by Axley Bros Saw Mill and Enhanced Customs). A majority of the proceeds will be donated to the Sand Soldiers of America! The event will take place on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Quaker Steak and Lube in Clearwater. American Gold Star Mothers

Our prayers continue to be with our Gold Star Mothers and families. This is an incredible organization of mothers who have lost a son or daughter in the service of our country. In their honor, please email your tributes and pictures to us. We want to continue their legacy as we honor their sacrifice made fighting for our continued freedom. God Bless these special families.
